We are very proud to be the first Lakestone stockists in the UK. Lakestone guitars are handmade in Wolverhampton by Tony Wright and his son Sam, and are fantastic instruments. Tony has previously worked with George Lowden on several procedures to improve tone, most notably designing the jig for Lowden's fan fret models, which Lakestone now make under their own name.
This OM/D is a small bodied guitar but with the depth of a jumbo (the D refers to the depth). This combination gives a well balanced range of tone and an increase in volume over your usual OM size - with brilliant results.
This features a cedar top with mahogany back and sides, and sounds warm yet very responsive, with impressive volume and doesn't shy away from being strummed.
On all Lakestone models, the slimmer thickness of the neck and low action helps to give a very comfortable and faster play, as well as amazing sustain.
