Steve Toon Charlton Parlour Electro Acoustic Handmade In The UK
- Brand: Steve Toon
- Product Code: Charlton
- Availability: 1 in stock
The Charlton is Steve’s parlour size guitar – Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back & sides, 12 frets to the body (19 frets in total), a light X braced top and slotted headstock. Especially shines with light gauge strings and played fingerstyle, although forward enough for picking and moderate strumming. This guitar has a warm and rich sound, particularly suited to small rooms. A great guitar for recording and has been fitted with a piezo under saddle pick up ( we believe it to be a Fishman). Perfect balance between bass and treble.
Steve is a well established and highly regarded Luthier based in Gloucestershire and is becoming increasingly well recognised as a world class maker. His guitars rarely come up second hand and this is fantastic opportunity to own one of Steve's fantastic guitars, at a fraction of their current retail prices, which far exceed the £3k mark!
This is a 2008 model, handmade by Steve Toon, in fantastic condition except one tiny varnish pock on the top left of the body (1.5 mm) and 2 small chips in the back binding (1 & 3 mm) Although we have pointed out any noticeable flaws there maybe a few other minor signs of use, we highly recommend popping in the see and play this little beauty.
Comes with a Hiscox Pro II case.
