This is a beautiful little Luce parlour guitar from Cort. Finished in Vintage Sunburst, our stock also comes with a free fitted hard case.
Based on the revered vintage parlor body guitars from the 1930s, the 12th fret neck-body joint not only imparts a classical look but produces a strong low-end and surprisingly loud volume for a guitar of its compact size.
This guitar features a solid cedar top. Compared to spruce, cedar is a bit mellower and warmer. The midrange is slightly accentuated with a sweeter top-end, making cedar ideal for players who fingerpick a lot and prefer a slightly rounder and fuller sound.
The back and sides are made from the more unusual Paldao. A hard and dense wood, Paldao delivers bright high-mids and a clear low-end. Looks-wise, it is reminiscent of Koa for a classy high-end look.
Other features of this great parlour are a 45mm nut width (slightly wider for fingerpicking), bone nut and saddle, Grover vintage machine heads, slotted headstock and a vintage style neck volute.
A beautiful and great sounding little guitar with excellent features - and with a hard case too!!
