Musicman Luke

The Music Man Luke Signature Model Electric Guitar combines hot electronics, a sleek body, and an oil-finished maple neck with a prominent V-profile. The electronics are active (with an easy-access battery compartment) and employ an active EMG model 85 humbucker in the bridge position, and 2 EMG SLV custom single coils forward. 5-way selector gives instant access to a huge palette of tones. Hardware includes a MusicMan vintage tremolo and Schaller M6-IND locking tuners that ensure accurate tuning and intonation. Includes hardshell case.

All musicman guitars have great necks and the neck on this example is brilliant. Comfortable and super fast I love it. Generally I am not a fan of active pickups, but the EMGs in the Luke are excellent. Sparkling clean and raucous rock tones can be produced with ease.

A superbly well built and thought out guitar. A real musical Swiss army knife.
